here is a ten year old song, written and recorded near the end of the 90s. remember the 90s? they say that if you can, then you were totally there. big whoop.

it was featured on a cassette only release titled ‘cat fur coat’. it’s called “love is like…” and instead of the blanket or warm puppy comparison, i seem to remember it having something to do with exploding motorcycles.

this tune is a short sad one that hasn’t made it to any official scientific maps release yet. it’s called ‘constuction begins’. this recording comes from a visit donna and i made to WEXT last year. i think it was our first radio interview together and i was a little more than nervous, asking to re-do songs and basically driving donna mad. this song normally has a swear in it but we edited that out for radio…so you can blast it at work or school. wherever you prefer to blast it.

ok! thanks for listening.
-aaron

we played under a gazebo in saratoga with matthew loiacono. in...

we played under a gazebo in saratoga with matthew loiacono. in this picture, donna is pumped!

'People Love Their Troubles' Music Video

'People Love Their Troubles' Music Video :
here it is at last. we worked for many weeks filming in dangerous situations and locations to capture what we think is the most entertaining music video to hit the internet in the history of the internet. watch the bandit narrowly escape capture by the albany all-stars roller derby! marvel as he evades the clutches of drunken revelers at albany’s tulip fest! see him romance! transmogrify! appreciate abstract art! it’s all in here. we had a great time putting it together and we hope you like it. leave a comment and let us know what you think. thanks so much!

Here is another old song yet to be released. It’s a demo version of ‘Wishing You Would Write’. It was initially intended to be added to the fabled Maps full length ‘Food For Witches’, but will most likely end up on a 6 track E.P. of similarly sad songs. I hope you like it. Also, I noticed i haven’t been posting as many hits to this blog as I planned. I’ll work on that.

Thanks!
